Include a scalp massage as part of your daily personal care regimen to grow and maintain healthy hair.

In what way does it help? Hair follicles are amazing little hair production factories which thrive on a constant supply of healthy, oxygenated blood delivered by a circulatory system in good suction cup therapy working order. Drawing the nutrients and oxygen needed for new cell creation, these new cells push up through the hair follicle where they eventually die and harden to form new hair.
Scalp massage helps maintain a healthy blood circulation so the hair follicles get what they need. Be aware though that regular scalp massage can increase the amount of sebum produced in the hair follicle. Sebum is the natural oil produced by the body to protect the hair. If your hair is very oily you may need to decrease the number of times you do a scalp massage.
Here are two scalp massage procedures you can do by yourself for healthy hair maintenance. They are easily done each day while showering and washing the hair.
Scalp Massage No. 1: The Friction Massage
This vigorous action will make the scalp tingle and relaxed.
Scalp Massage No. 2: The Kneading Massage
Here is a suggested route:
This scalp massage is particularly effective in increasing blood circulation as well as in stimulating glands and muscles.
Healthy hair is the result of proper diet and exercise to make sure the body is working well on the inside as well as proper care and attention to the scalp and hair on the outside.
Perform scalp massage each day and enjoy the benefits with great looking, healthy hair.
Before you start revising for your Beauty Therapy exams you must have a well structured revision plan. Part of this revision plan would be to have a large set of Beauty Therapy questions to constantly test yourself.
Beauty Therapy is divided into several different areas including Skin, Waxing, Manicure, Pedicure and Make Up. Having this much to learn can be very overwhelming at the end of the year so you must use your questions.
The best type of questions to use are in the format of multiple choice. With multiple choice questions you have one question and you get four potential answers. For exam and revision purposes you must choose only one answer. This obviously leaves no room for error so you must know your answer!
Some examples of Beauty Therapy Questions are as follows:
01. Which layer of the skin contains melanin?a) Stratum granulosumb) Stratum spinosumc) Stratum corneumd) Stratum germinativum - Answer
02. At what stage is the hair actively growing?a) Telogenb) Catagenc) Anagen - Answerd) Pathogen
03. What is the function of the free edge?a) To protect the living nail bed of the fingersb) To protect the fingertips and the hyponychium - Answerc) To produce new nail cellsd) To protect the matrix from physical damage
04. How would you brighten a sallow complexion?a) Apply a green tinted concealerb) Apply a yellow tinted concealerc) Apply a purple tinted concealer - Answerd) Apply an orange tinted concealer
My advice would be to break down each section and learn it separately. So for example, take Waxing, and learn this area and then move on to Manicure & Pedicure. It is advisable to have over 1,000 multiple choice questions for revision purposes as there is a lot of information to learn.
